How I can help

People come to private sessions for many different reasons. Some arrive with a clear sense of what they want help with, while others simply know that something does not feel right and want support making sense of it.

You do not need to have the right words, a diagnosis, or a clear goal. The work begins with understanding what is happening for you and what kind of support would be most helpful.

The kinds of challenges people bring

I work with adults who are experiencing things such as:
-
Ongoing stress, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm
-
Feeling stuck in repeating thought or emotional patterns, including a harsh inner critic
-
Navigating loss, separation, change, or a difficult life transition
-
Living with chronic pain or physical symptoms where stress or emotional load may be contributing, alongside medical care

Often, these experiences are not about one single issue, but about how the mind and nervous system have learned to respond over time.

Working with understanding and change
A central part of how I help is supporting you to understand what is happening beneath the surface - not just at a thinking level, but emotionally and subconsciously too.
Through guided reflection and gentle psychoeducation, we explore how experiences are processed, how emotional responses are triggered, and why certain patterns can feel persistent even when you want things to be different.
For many people, this understanding brings clarity and relief, and creates the conditions for meaningful change.

How NLP, IEMT and hypnotherapy support this work
I blend NLP-informed coaching, IEMT, and hypnotherapy as part of an integrated approach to insight, emotional regulation, and change.
NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming)
NLP helps us understand how thoughts, language, attention, and meaning shape emotional experience. It supports awareness, perspective, and practical ways of working with patterns that influence how you feel and respond.
IEMT (Integral Eye Movement Therapy)
IEMT works directly with how emotional memories are stored and triggered. It can be particularly helpful where emotional responses feel strong, repetitive, or difficult to regulate, supporting emotional release and greater calm.
Hypnotherapy
Hypnotherapy works with focused attention and the subconscious mind - where emotional patterns, beliefs, and automatic responses are held.
Used gently and ethically, it can support change at a deeper level, especially where conscious effort alone has not been enough.
Together, these approaches allow the work to move beyond insight alone, supporting change that feels grounded, embodied, and lasting.
I draw on my training, experience, and professional judgement to work in the way that best supports you in the moment. You do not need to decide on an approach or understand the techniques being used — the focus is always on what is most helpful and appropriate for you.

Building a personal toolbox
Alongside deeper work, a key aim of sessions is to equip you with a practical toolbox — ways of managing your mindset, emotional responses, and inner experience that you can continue to use in everyday life.
This helps you feel more resourced, grounded, and able to navigate challenges with greater confidence over time.
A note on boundaries
The work I offer is reflective and therapeutic in nature, but it is not a replacement for medical or psychiatric care.
Where appropriate, I will always be open about boundaries and help you consider other forms of support if they would better meet your needs. This is part of working responsibly and ethically.
